PLEASE READ ALL SAFETY GUIDELINES BELOW
- Weighted blankets should only be used with the direction and advice of your doctor, consultant, occupational therapist or other suitably qualified health professional.
- Ensure that the blanket does not cover the persons face and never use the blanket as a restraint. The user should be supervised and be able to self-remove the blanket independently.
- In the unlikely event of any discomfort discontinue use immediately.
- Keep the blanket away from heat sources, naked flames and cigarettes. Do not place on heaters or radiators.
- Do not roll up a person in a weighted blanket
- Never cover the head with the weighted blanket
- Do not use if there is a condition that may be compromised by putting weight on the body
- Do not use on children under the age of three or on children who cannot move out of underneath and peel back the blanket
- Make sure the blanket is always in good condition and have no holes, openings, rips etc.
- Weighted blankets should be used under the supervision of an adult at all times. Kozie Clothes accepts no responsibility for the misuse of blankets and lap pads supplied.
Hand Wash or Machine wash on a cool wash (30 to 40 degrees C) and it is best to allow to dry naturally. Do not Iron. Do not Dry Clean.
Weighted blanket and duvet are both machine washable. No need to remove weighted weights.
The size measures 40”x 48” which is a great size for EVERYONE (contact us and we will explain why) which is also easy to transport.

This blanket saved my sanity! My son is 1 year old. Until a month ago he was up at least 3-4 times a night. I had tried all kinds of things to get him to sleep through the night, or at least more than 2 hours at a time. I was at my wits end. So I put him to bed with this blanket on, and for the first time in his life he slept 8 1/2 hours straight! He has done so everynight since! This blanket is amazing. I can lay him down in his crib with it on his legs, and he quietly plays with the soft velvety fabric till he falls asleep. It is so well made and I love that it is machine washable!
My 6 year old daughter LOVES this blanket! She sleeps so peacefully underneath it, and helps to calm her when she is upset. We call it "relaxing blankie", it is a miracle worker! My 3 year old neurotypical daughter runs to fetch it when her older sister is upset, even she recognizes how useful it is! The 3 year old wants to know when she's getting one. I had to try it out for myself, and think it is pretty soothing. The only thing I would suggest is a family pack!
This weighted blanket is so soft and comforting on the one side and “cool” on the skin on the other. We use it daily in our family (parents as much as the kids we bought it for!) It is the perfect size to keep on the couch for easy access while watching TV, reading or napping. Using this blanket before bedtime helps to create a “calm down” session for our son.

We use this blanket for our non-verbal, adult daughter who suffered a TBI. When she becomes agitated or tense, we use this blanket to help soothe her. The blanket allows the agitation and extreme muscle tension to slowly melt away so that she can relax. I sometimes steal it away to use myself when she doesn't need it!
